Put Your Love on Top

This was my very first time attending an event with The Charge Station™ and it was incredible! 

I felt nervous at first but everyone was SO friendly and welcoming. Many walked right up to me and introduced themselves, which I was happy about because that pushed me to come out of my shell quicker than it normally takes.

Guess what I got the second I arrived...? a free drink! I was thinking, Olga really knows how to take care of her guests! HA! This is probably because after a long day of work, she knows that this is the perfect place to sit down, network with old friends and new, while relaxing at the same time. And if she is thinking that…I am going to have to agree with her!

When we heard the microphone activate through the speakers, we all simultaneously got as quiet as possible, as we knew the presentation was about to start! Olga was hilarious the second she started talking. She tapped into an energy that motivated and recharged the audience but with a certain fire I feel most people don’t have. She targets on happiness to boost your mood and I definitely need more of that in my life. For instance, I was talking to one of my co-workers during the event and he mentioned how he enjoyed the way Olga challenged people to think deeply about important things in life. People often struggle to look from within on their own.

When was the last time you hugged someone for at least 30 seconds?! yeah, well... that happened at TCS! Some were totally weirded out by it and others loved it. I remember Olga telling the audience, “That is the point of this activity. Whether you liked it, felt weird about it or hated it, I want everyone to leave here feeling something.”  I was like, “Wow, good point!” It made me giggle watching everyone adjust, but it made everyone comfortable with each other after and I really liked it. She started telling us stories about her life as a young child and how it is important to loveoneself and rely on oneself at all times because although life gets tough, you have to have your own back. That’s some deep stuff, right? I feel like people are willing to open up to others and are more eager to listen when something is personalized.

The place was screaming with positive energy when the music started playing. If you haven't guessed already…it made everyone get up and dance! A bunch of silly pictures were being taken in front of "The Charge Station" banner thanks to the photographer to archive the amazing memories that were created. I really felt like I was a part of something important while attending this my first time. I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for the next one! Remember, everyone has access to TCS…which means everyone has access to happiness!
